Good language editing must be based on a strong philosophy. When I edit, I am guided by the following three principles:

  1. We are a team. I care about helping people get their findings published, and I want to work with you to give you the best manuscript editing product possible. I think of our time together as a collaboration, an idea that can only lead to a better final product.

  2. A sentence can be grammatically correct but still sound bad. Some editing companies take the easy way out and only edit for correct grammar and simple word usage. While their end product is grammatically correct, that doesn’t mean it will sound good. I take extra time to think about what you want to say and to make corrections that result in a truly beautiful sounding manuscript.

  3. I am on time and always do my very best work. Your manuscript will always be returned on time and is guaranteed to be of the highest possible quality. If you are not satisfied with your edited document, I will work with you until you are. I offer my clients a satisfaction guarantee.
